After exam week
We had to warm up in the first set. It worked out in the second set. Not in the third set. We were close in the fourth set, but we could not keep our lead. Slaying on Halloween 🔪🔪🔪
In the first set we were like: this team is really good! Scary times, especially because it was Halloween👻. We lost that one quite badly. But then! The second set came. We lost that one as well.. We needed to give them a false feeling of winning and then it was comeback time!!! Third set!!! Comeback time for real. Excitement in de Lutte
We started our match really well with a nice first set. There was a problem.... There were fake lines!!! 😳. The ref had difficulty differentiating those lines as well. Luckily we had lovely Danique who stood up for us❤️, but the ref was really set in her decisions. Even the opponent tried to come to our defense but it did not matter. We started the evening nice, we ended the evening not so nice. We had a really good dinner with Gents 6. Then we took a wrong turn and were late. But it was fine. We lost 0-4. :( Then we went to cheer on gents 6. They won in the fifth set! Jildou and Lieke were really good influencers (check out our Instagram!) After a hassle to cycle 30 minutes to Borne, we started the match 20 minutes late and without warming up, but still we won set 1 big time! Not much to say about the second set tho. For set 3, we put it all in (because it is Jildou’s birthday) and got our well-deserved pitcher!!! We were bussin at the block-attack and defence!!
