Ending the Year with a Comeback – Time Out’75 HS 1 vs Harambee HS 1

With one more match to go before the holiday break, Harambee H1 traveled to Time Out’75 looking to close 2024 on a high note. The spirits were good, but the start of the match definitely wasn’t what we hoped for. Time Out came out swinging, putting us under pressure early and taking the first set 25–17.

Not ones to be discouraged, we regrouped quickly and brought more focus to the court. The second set saw a noticeable shift: smarter passing, sharper attacks, and more solid serves. We evened things out with a 25–18 win.

The third set was a moment of tension—Time Out tried to take back control, and while we struggled to keep the momentum, we narrowly dropped it 25–19. With both teams fired up, the fourth set turned into a battle of nerves. In a thrilling back-and-forth exchange, we pushed hard and clinched it 28–26, sealing the 3–1 victory and taking all four points home.

A great way to head into the holidays—with a win and the confidence that we’re on the right track for 2025!

Harambee stood tall,

A comeback emerged, brightening the day!

The scoreboard flickered in thrill and delight,
As rallies turned fierce in the night.
With teamwork and cheer,
They conquered their fear,
And ended the year with a fight.
