Gents 5 - Devoc

Last week we played against the gents 2 of Devoc in Delden. With a sudden setback we went to the match without a libero and without one of our mid players. When we arrived in Delden after Google wanted to send us through some questionable infrastructure, we first admired their scheduling skills for the dressing rooms by completely ignoring it. 

During the match a few notable things happened: 

We lost the first set, even though we came close and didn’t play terribly in the end. The later sets we won. Our and their defense was good which resulted in long rallies and the match taking almost two hours. Our middle attackers were strong allowing us to score many points via them. We sang more then we had done in the previous few matches, which showed how much more life it brings to game.

Afterwards before we left to go back to Enschede or elsewhere, some played a bit of table-volleyball.

Next week, Saturday the 12th of November we play against Rivo Rijssen HS 3, in Rijssen as once again we don’t have a home game during a home weekend. The make the blog before this one more relevant, I have combined the poem such that they interconnect.
