Heren 3 vs Vips Bardot HS 2: Building Chemistry on the Court

Every team faces challenges, and last night’s 3-0 loss was a learning experience for us. In the first set, we were stiff and hesitant, and it felt like we were trying to find our rhythm. But near the end, something clicked—we made a mental comeback and fought hard. Even though we didn’t win that set, it was clear that our team has potential.

The second and third sets showed that while we weren’t falling far behind, Vips Bardot were clearly stronger. We were able to maintain our composure so that they couldn't get a big lead on us, but lost both of the sets either way. Despite the loss, it was a valuable reminder of where we stand and how much we can grow.

Right now, we still lack chemistry and trust within the team, learning when to cover, when to attack, and how to anticipate each other’s moves. That chemistry takes time. As we gel more as a team, I know the wins will come. For now, we take the lessons from this game and focus on growth. One step at a time, we’ll get there.
