De zomervakantie zit er weer op en het zaalseizoen staat weer op het punt van beginnen. Nu de teamindelingen zo goed als rond zijn kunnen we beginnen met vooruit kijken naar de eerste wedstrijden van het seizoen. Heren 5 heeft dit jaar de eer en het genoegen het competitieseizoen voor Harambee af te trappen: donderdag 26 september zullen we uit in de Pathmoshal aantreden tegen het vierde herenteam van Vips Bardot (vroeger bekend als Fellini Vips).
Na een probleemloos voorbereidingstoernooi waar de felbegeerde VBT-taart met bij vlagen geweldig volleybalspel in de wacht werd gesleept zijn de verwachtingen voor dit seizoen uiteraard hooggespannen. De Nevobo website geeft 3-2 winst voor Harambee aan als prognose, maar de verwachting is toch wel dat meer punten in het vat zitten. Absoluut spektakelgarantie dus!
Omdat de seizoensopener in Enschede is hopen we veel Harambee publiek op de tribune te zien om ons naar de overwinning te schreeuwen! Naar verluid is het sportcafé van de Pathmoshal weer open, dus er zijn absoluut bierkansen. Heb jij na de Lustrum DoMiBo niks te doen? Kom vooral langs!

The summer holidays are behind us and the indoor season is about to kick off. The team formations are as good as done and we can start looking ahead to the first matches of the season. This year, Heren 5 has the pleasure to kick off the competition season for Harambee: they will play away in the Pathmoshal against the fourth men's team of Vips Bardot (previously Fellini Vips) on Thursday September 26th.
After a near perfect preparation tournament where the coveted VBT-cake was won with, at times, amazing volleyball, expectations are unsurprisingly through the roof this season. According to the Nevobo forecast, a 3-2 victory for Harambee is foreseen, however in reality more points are expected. In short, a great match is guaranteed!
Because the season opener is in Enschede, we hope to see a large Harambee audience on the stands to support us towards victory! We hear the sports cafe in the Pathmoshal will be open, so there are definite beer opportunities. Expecting to be bored after the Lustrum DoMiBo? Make sure to come!
