Bloodshed in Enter
The day after Sinterklaas it was time to give ourselves one more present, a few points and third place in the competition. We had the pleasure to play against Gents 1 of Enter and thus had prime time: 17:00! This meant we had to have some proper lunch which Thijs provided for us. Wreaking havoc in our field
Our team constructed pokebowls at Roels place. This provided us with the perfect foundation to match up against the lowest scoring team in the construction-league. The men of Havoc HS2 were facing demolition/demotion and for us this was the perfect opportunity to take the freight elevator towards the top of the competition. Traveled to Travelssen
As always, we started our match preparation with a solid foundation. For this we had 'brunch' at Maartens keet, for which we gathered at 9. This might have been a bit early as leidinggevende Martin needed to be picked up from his bed. But alas we were complete and traveled to Rijssen. No work done without coffee, so the few spare minutes we had were spent on black gold, but only the bare minimum because we had a tight schedule for the day. Potje tijdrekken met Almelo
“Zonder bodem wordt er niet gewerkt” and thus we gathered again at Nicolai’s place to have dinner. This time we were allowed in the living room. Within the team we keep track of each other's allergies, intolerances and ‘Things we can't get through our throat’. Swimming association extinguishes winning streak
With a (soon to be) winning streak on our side, it was time to visit the site in Oldenzaal. Before this we went schaften at Toms place, where we had spaghetti with not-so-meat balls. While we had a few workers canceling, we luckily found sufficient substitutes to help the heavy lifting. The first set started and we really showed them how much muscle we can grow from some almost-meatballs. Still a bit claustrophobic from our last match we prepared ourselves for another match against Mare Volley. Since this time we would not have height restrictions we’ve already put down a proper foundation for the win. Breaking through the roof in Denekamp
In preparation of our next match, we were invited over at Nicolai's place for dinner. Since the living room required 7 couches, there was no room left to eat and the dining tables were placed over the length of the hallway. On both sides of the table was just enough room to fit our enormous chests, which quickly lead to teammates pushing their coworkers against the wall. Building the basis in Borne
For our first match of the season the construction peeps had to travel to the familiar Borne. Before that we needed a solid foundation. For this we gathered at our usual keet; the sports centre. For this our Foreman Mart brought buns, which quickly started the feud between white vs brown buns; the century old discussion between fibers and grade of moisture.
