Zoals jullie allemaal weten is het in groep 1 heeeeeeeel druk op school.🧑🏽‍🏫 We moesten allemaal papiertjes volschrijven en inleveren en we moesten ook nog toetsen doen op school. 📓🖊️ Niet volleybal toetsen en ook niet CITO toetsen maar we moesten zelf allemaal dingen uit ons hoofd leren en dan op school opschrijven waar het over ging. 🤓 Iedereen was heel druk. Na de hard bevochten overwinning op ATC H2 in eigen huis hadden de Galliërs de smaak van overwinning te pakken, en de volgende veldslag was al de donderdag erna gepland. Het vierde legioen van de Vips stonden op de agenda. Na de 3-2 nederlaag tegen het derde legioen waren de spanningen hoog. Last week we played against the gents 2 of Devoc in Delden. With a sudden setback we went to the match without a libero and without one of our mid players. Last saturday it was once again time to go to war on the court on home territory. We started our afternoon with a nice lunch on the terrace of the canteen. This time we faced another strong oppenent, Vibs Bardot HS1, currently placed 3rd out of 12 teams. After an hour of warmup and the stand nice and filled it was time for the game. Gents 4's match day started with the consumption of hearty Javanese-Surinamese bami noodles with chicken, cooked by Kevin. This was followed by cheering Gents 2 to victory and then it was really their turn. As the warming up began, it was already clear that Vrivo was taller than the Trans4mers. Afgelopen Zaterdag was het weer zover, een nieuwe uitdaging voor onze Galliërs. Uit het noordwesten kwam het tweede bataljon van ATC uit Hengelo. De aanval was gepland om 11:00 in het Drienerlose sportcentrum. Doordat infiltrant Fristix erg aan het genieten was van het zonnetje in het zuiden waar de Romynen vandaan komen, werd Reservix, aka Mart, van de bank gehaald. Als heren Thunderdome hebben we er dit seizoen lang op moeten wachten, maar we mochten eindelijk een wedstrijd spelen in ons thuishonk: de HOUTEN ZAAL! En als kers op de taart, mochten we ook voor het eerst aantreden in onze epische inspeel tenues! Hier kregen we dan ook zo veel energie van dat we al een uur van tevoren in de houten zaal te vinden waren om ons voor te bereiden op de wedstrijd. Op zaterdag 22 oktober was het zover, de wedstrijd van de ZASsepoesters tegen T-Volley Dames 2 die met een dikke 4-0 van onze vorige tegenstander hadden gewonnen. Tegen hen hadden wij 3-1 verloren, dus dit was een uitdagend vooruitzicht. De voorbereiding voor de wedstrijd begon de avond van tevoren al. Aangezien de wedstrijd om 11 uur ’s ochtends zou beginnen, zouden we om 9 uur al gaan ontbijten. En wat kan je dan beter doen dan alvast moed indrinken op de vrijdagavond?! Dus zo geschiedde.
