Campus update 10/12/2022

Dear students,

On the day of the prom, we started around 1 pm with cheering on our Gallic coaches. We did also have our lunch there, but it was preceded with a slight miscommunication about the organization, luckily any complications were resolved as the supermarket is so close to the SportsCenter.

Next, we would draw your attention to the following:

With the arrival of the team pullovers, we have updated the pre-match dress code.

Our match started at 3 pm, and we played against WVC volley H2. Because we were complete for the first time in a while, we also had shot our team photo, which hopefully arrives soon on the site. This also meant we didn’t have to borrow any players this time.

To summarize the match, the first three sets went well with maybe a bit of a startup problem in the first set we usually have. These three sets are a testament that when we have fun, the rest of our play goes as anticipated and result in a win. However, for an unknown reason this dissipated in the last set. Because even though we should have won this set, for a large portion of the set the fun was exchanged for silence and annoyance. The latter also fueled by the questionable semantics and the anger of the opponent. In the end we did get close but lost this set.

The next match was played last Saturday against Klumpers VVA, of which the next campus update is scheduled to be released this afternoon.
