Crashed in to the wall

the last race of this quadruple-header is upon us. This Saturday we had a race at the infamous 'Veste' track in Borne. Races here are well known for the hot race conditions (poor Mr. Warnaar), slippery track and endless after parties in the paddock.   Our opponents are made up of reserve drivers of the race organisation 'Apollo 8'. This organisation was set up to reach the moon, but are still at it, about 55 years later. In order to gain some traction, they adopted a color scheme similar to ours, so it's time to show them who's boss.   Our entire grid is complete for this race, except for Mr. VanMidden, who has a scary ride to the behindcorner ahead of him, to see if Henny learned anything from last Saturday.   Monica acted team principle for this race. Attempts to impress for a place in Gents 1 next year are always appreciated but did not worked out well. We will stay together next year since this race was a shame.   The lights did go out at a time of 12 o'clock. This is a time of 18:00 in vietnam which could help providing a jet lagg for our players who have just returned.     Starting of the game with fresh new energy and with completeness of the team did not end up in the result, we expected. The rocket start of apollo 8 did vanash our speed of the Ferradri car. So the first set went to the enigneers of NASA.   Going ahead with the second set. As apollo seems to be an rocket which want to go in the space, they came back from a cold kermis. It could be a bot controversly but comparing the opponents with the formula 1 driver Romain Grosjan would be a better comparison since they crashed in to the wall on the net positioned by Mr Nederhand. In contradiction to the crash back in 2020 this race did continue with more crashes in to the wall which resulted in a victory for us.   As the engineers of NASA are that smart, they did change their tactics in which they managed to overcome the wall of ferradri. Bad passes at our side, in combination met slippery tires on a slippery road resulted a lot of tracklimits to be exceeded as well as easy overtakes for them. During the rest of the match, we did not have the strenght to overcome this and fix our receiving. 
At the end, the profile of the race machines in our time (setters) went of as well as the engines which needed to make over hours which is not good for the whole car.   

End result, 3-1.  

But that's not it. Our own game may be lost, but our friends of Gents 1 did also have an race in Borne which could be won. Apparently, we noticed our concolegas from Veracles also had a race at the same time. Our loud voices in combination with a lot of burger pitchers of beer, resulted in good prestations of the ladies out Groningen which won the game. This was a small pleister op de zere wond, which we use to go home with a good feeling of this day.
