Vrijdag 29 oktober had dames zEscort een spannend uitje op de planning staan, namelijk onze vervroegde “kampioenswedstrijd” tegen de enige concurrent Timax/Devoko. Het voltallige zEscort team werd deze avond niet zoals gewoonlijk begeleid door Sander, maar in plaats daarvan was het de eer aan Bastie om met de dames op stap te gaan. Vrijdag 29 oktober stond er weer een uit wedstrijd op het programma. Van tevoren speelde er bij onze coach Sander een teamdate plaats. We hebben samen met heren 5 een overheerlijk maal gehad. Onze weg vervolgde daarna richting het station op weg richting Wierden. We hadden een wedstrijd tegen Weghorst Makelaardij WVC Volley dames 4. Finally, after a week of "resting", we had a match with the presence of our ninja Coach Kay! As a regular preparation for the match (forget about the long warm-ups, some members were even late for a short one!), we had a filling dinner at Yasmin's place. Kudos go to chef Anna! One of the team members (Sevinj) proved to be an actual turtle by being 15 mins late to the dinner. But no worries, she cleaned all the dishes and we made it to the match! On the grim Saturday afternoon before Halloween, we had our first official battle against Apollo Heren 4. After a practice match during the preparation tournament (which ended in a tie) we were ready to show them who was the better team. Vrijdag 22 oktober had Dames Phineas en Fierb een uitwedstrijd tegen Wevo Dames 5. Na een inspirerende wedstrijdmail van aanvoerder Marte gelezen te hebben had iedereeen er weer zin in! Van tevoren moest er natuurlijk gegeten worden, voor de verandering een keer bij Esmee. Last week we had an amazing breakfast with Gents Toverkr8. You might expect that with a little magic everyone could be there at the scheduled time. (Totally misjudged, our bad). Surprisingly Tjerk did not make it to breakfast (or the match), maybe his magic was absorbed by all wine and beers he had the night before. Vaststelling van de tweede parlementaire overwinningVan kabinet Rutte V   Motie van fractie Rutte V   De Kamer,   Gehoord de beraadslaging,   Geconstateerd is dat de stijgende lijn is doorgezet in het positionele beleidsplan en de tweede overwinning bijgeschreven mag worden. Een politieke masterclass door Rutte V met een 3-2 overwinning over WVC.   Constaterende dat het scoren van lijntjes nu ook gestaagd gaat. Na de motie van 08-10-21 zijn er 2 lijntjes bijgeschreven. Last Friday, we played our first home match of the season. It was also our first pre-match diner together. After the two 4-0 defeats without a diner, hopefully the diner would be the secret ingredient to our success against Aastad. This heavy task of preparing a delicious meal was taken upon by Sander and Quinten. As you might have seen in our teammovie, all of ladies 2 has not one, but two loves. What we have not mentioned yet was that the team has a joint second love…  for ‘hard gaan’ or going hard as it translates to in english.
