Gents 1 had a second cup match on Friday, the 20th of September. We went up against the second team coached by Monica, Volley ‘68 HS1. They are the second team of Monica’s because that was very obviously indicated in the results of the match. Gents 1 came out victorious, winning 3:0 and finishing the opponents off quick. Our volleyball team just experienced one of the most exhilarating matches of the season, securing a hard-fought 3-2 victory against Wevo 70 HS 1. It was a battle of nerves and resilience from start to finish. We opened the match with a tense first set, winning our opponents in a nail-biting finish. Het is weer zover! De tweede beker wedstrijd van dames Brie! Het begon allemaal met lekkere lasagne bij Sophie thuis. Na een enorm lange fietstocht werden we heel erg welkom geheten in de Pathmoshal. Dear reader(s),  After the vaka*, it was finally time to play our first (cup) match of the year, spannie! This  was scheduled midweek, so, unfortunately, we had to skip the wo(e)mibo, because the match had, of course, our prio. But no worries, we had a hdp dinner mdm (and of course, Herwin). Today was our first match together! We played against Rivo in riijjjjjjssseeeeen and it was not long rijssen, just a half hour with the car (we are so happy with our amazing teammembers who have a car) After taking this party ride we arrived at the sport hall (halletje) in Rijssen. On the 12th of September Gents 1 had their first Cup match against Vips Bardot H3, where they went up against their once good friends Pim and Yuri. Ja ja ja! Het seizoen is weer begonnen! En hoe kan dat beter dan met een lekkere  lunch brunch. En toen begon het al, de DRAMAAAA, want de bus viel uit waardoor er 3 mensen ineens niet meer mee konden. Every team faces challenges, and last night’s 3-0 loss was a learning experience for us. In the first set, we were stiff and hesitant, and it felt like we were trying to find our rhythm. But near the end, something clicked—we made a mental comeback and fought hard. Even though we didn’t win that set, it was clear that our team has potential. Lieve fans, haters (die we niet hebben), aanhang, tegenstanders, neutrale toeschouwers en alle andere geïnteresseerden van het tweede heren ensemble. Graag stellen wij u voor aan de eerste kampioenen van het lustrum jaar van Harambee!!   Zaterdag 7 September jongstleden was het dan zo ver; de godenzonen van Messieurs Deux mochten voor het eerst dit seizoen ten strijde trekken.
